Although the process has not yet been implemented, it provides a clear insight into their plans and an inspiring model of what a process map might look like. By clearly defining workflows and coordination, they enable goal-oriented work and avoid unnecessary delays in the process. With the use of colour codes and a clear distribution of roles, they have not only created an educationally illustrated process but also made it easier for everyone involved to follow and understand the various steps of the process.

Joanna Larsen, special educator in Älmhult municipality and the creator of the process, emphasizes the advantages of clearly defining and communicating processes:

"The purpose of the processes is to make it easier to navigate through one's tasks, reduce the risk of misunderstandings, increase quality assurance and create a stronger sense of belonging and participation in the school's common mission".
