We at InfoCaption often talk about the importance of onboarding, and we try to live what we teach. Juliette started with us in February 2023 as a Customer Coach. In other words, she has just completed her onboarding. Read Juliette's own story about how she experienced it.
As a new member of InfoCaption, I can confirm that we really "live as we teach"! I have never had such a good onboarding experience! From the internal HR process for pre-boarding and onboarding, broken down into detailed activities listed hierarchically and by role, to a portal for new employees packed with useful guides and courses on subjects like GDPR and security for example.
Instead of spending weeks reading tons of text, watching tons of videos, or sitting in meetings from morning to night, I found it very flexible to combine these and a clear list of activities to do. In fact, all my activities were listed in Microsoft Planner where I could check them off one by one as they were completed. I felt independent and knew what was expected of me from day one.

Thanks to the “new employee” portal, I know that I can at any time get back to the existing guides if I don’t remember something or if I face any issues. The “new employee” portal is my first way to go before tapping the shoulder of a colleague. And 99% of the time, the answer is found in a guide! It’s not that I don’t want to talk to my colleagues, but I actually remember what I have learned as I actually searched for it and solved it by myself – this is really learning by doing!
